The Conejo Valley proper runs from Agoura Hills through Westlake Village into Thousand Oaks. We also cover Simi Valley and Moorpark just north over the ridge, which share the terrain and the climate even though they sit in their own basin.
This is the most heavily wooded territory we work. The oaks that give Thousand Oaks its name are everywhere, and mature canopy means a heavy, continuous load into gutters and onto roofs – sap, leaf litter, and acorn drop that will not rinse off a solar panel.
It is also wildland-urban interface. Most of these communities back directly onto open space or the Santa Monica Mountains, which brings two things: fine brush dust carried on the canyon winds, and a real practical reason to keep roof valleys and gutters clear of dry vegetation going into fire season.
